Anyone know if I can get push email to work w/ my gmail account. I see sprint recently made a deal w/ yahoo for such a solution.

I hadnt heard of any such deal, got a link? If yahoo has a special push arrangement a quick and dirty solution would be to forward your gmail to a yahoo account.

WM5 and push e-mail was will available for the SP2 and 2003 Exchange. I am an Exchange admin and am waiting for Sp2 to go public so I can utilize this feature which will attempt to simulate the same push capabities as a BB server.

Whole bunch of news on it
http://www.google.com/search?q=sprin...utf-8&oe=utf-8

It looks like it uses SEVEN as its underlying technology. I know Beryl has used SEVEN. Maybe she could comment on using it for pop generically.

Seven is also the underlying software for Sprint's Business Connection and Cingular's Xpress Mail. If you have a PC running 24/7 with internet access and Outlook, you can use this software to have push email for just about any email account. Some people hate Business Connection but I have found it works just fine for me.

ew it costs money? I assumed that a service tied to a free account would also be free. No thanks, if I am going to pay for anything it would be a hosted exchange account.
