Activesync not connecting?!?

Hooked up my 6700 and installed activesync 4.0. Detects and installs drivers for my PPC, Activesync opens and sees my PPC and correctly names it, but then stays in the "Looking for changes" screen with the spinning green wheel forever.

Anyone have any clues?

Was this an upgrade to AS 4 from as 3.X? Might try completely uninstalling AS and reinstall from scratch.

And I think AS 4.1 is available over at xda-dev. Site is down for me right now so I can't get a link for ya, but I believe it's there.

I thought I had read the AS4 wanted a clean install - remove AS3X prior...

a new network connection is created when you do an active sync. Make sure that you select this network connection and set the windows firewall to disable.
If you are not specific when making changes to windows firewall it will apply new settings to all network connections. I have 4 guys in the office that have the same phone and all have had windows firewall blocking the sync on their phones. The icon just spins and never sycronizes..
