I'm getting one to replace my 6600. My old phone is trashed so I can't transfer info through the IR but the SD card I used is unscathed. If I copied the old card onto the new micro card would it work? I mean would programs like Contacts load in the addresses?

The PPC 6600 and PPC 6700 use different operating systems and differnt file formats for the contacts (pim.vol).

You would be best to sync using the USB (or Bluetooth) through Outlook. Once you connected the new 6700, all your contacts will be sent to it via Outlook.

If Outlook is not going to work, I believe there are some utilities to copy your contacts info to your SD. Just make sure it will work with both operating systems.
