He has found one on Ebay, but the current owner says this, "Ok here's the story, I JUST got this and decided to do a little "upgrading". Well if you know anything about these jokers, I accidentally upgraded the bootloader version and due to my limted knowledge of these I can't fix it. So my mistake is your gain! It worked like a dream before I messed with it!"

I have the WM6 Helmi upgrade. If this phone still goes into bootloader mode, can I put the WM6 upgrade on it?

Any advice for my friend would be greatly appreciated!

it thats ALL thats wrong with the phone the you can re load the OS on it. i would be certain the ESN is clean and there are no other problems.. Also if there is a money back guarantee on it if your friend finds something else wrong....
