I just purchased an XV6700 that has been fully flashed over to work on the cricket network, but when I open IE to go surf the web, it loads the home page just fine, but when I type a URL or click a link, it prompts for user name and password. According to the instructions that came with my phone, the username should be my phone number@mycricket.com and there was a preset password. So I type this information in and it tries to connect to it's #777 number to get access to the internet then tells me my username/password is incorrect.
I love the phone, everything works great aside from this. Sadly, internet access is a large reason I got this phone so if I cant get this fixed, I'ma be a sad panda. If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it.

make sure proxy server settings are off, i resolved my issue thankyou, i hope this helps someone

I've had the same problem in the passwork box I use cricket. But something IE deleyes my internet settings password all the time. So I always put in cricket.
