Unhappy Broken screen, need to get photos

Hello,

I have a verizon 6700 smart phone, and the screen is cracked. I just need to get my photos off of this phone but even when I connect it to my computer via USB it won't register as an extra hard drive, etc.

Is there any third party app that can gain access to this phone? I've searched and there appears to be nothing I can do, which of course makes me sad...

Any help is much appreciated.

are the photos on SD card or in main memory?

if your phone can coonnect to ASync you can just use file explorer and get the files off that way. if your screen is broken, im not sure how you can get around trying to install a program that would gain you access to files.. so if you can use ASync to get into the phone, thats all you need...

I too have a broken screen on my SCH-I760, and was hoping to pull the phonebook and text messages off it, or at least move them onto my new Touch Pro coming in the mail. Any software that can be run from my desktop that can backup that data?

no trick. if you have it enabled to sync when connected to usb then thats all you need to do. can you use the physical buttons to navigate around? can you see the screen at all or is it completely not usable?

The keyboard lights up when I press the buttons, so I'm assuming I can still navigate. I'm not sure if I had it set to sync or not. The screen is completely spiderwebbed.

What are the keystrokes to enable auto sync?

ooh i dont know... it maybe possible for verizon to swap the info at the store. they should have a machine that may be able to do that. give your local corporate store a call....

with not being able to see the screen its going to be hard to find the needle in the haystack....
