i bet you have a large database of contacts eh?
if you have a large number of contacts, this causes a delay in the phone poping up the CID info. in some cases if you have a unique ringer for a contact, you may get the standard ringer first for a milisecond then the unique ringer will kick in. thats all due to a large database of contacts and evdn PIM info such as notes, to do items, calendar entries, etc.
also, your IE cache and temp folders, sms chat logs, saved/deleted/drafts/attachments, etc can eat up precious system memory which, if all these factors are in concert together, can cause the device to act reacl slow...
