everything can already go through WiFi except MMS. There is nothing you need to do other than turn on WiFi and connect to a public/private network. You can stream music and surf at the same time or browse your own private network while on the phone, ECT.

So what exactly are you trying to do that you cant already?

thanks for clarifying. i had a verizon tech tell me point blank that when i am connected to a Wi-Fi network, that all data will still go through Verizon's network. clearly a lie. they told me i had to upgrade my pay as you go plan to an unlimited plan. i'm so sick of these horrible verizon techs.

You must have had the idiot I had a long time ago. They told me the same thing. WiFi is totally different and an entirely different network than that of the carriers Data Plan. I argued a female CSR down one day about it and finally gave up because she swore up and down she was right and I was wrong even though I told her I deleted the VZW #777 connection from the phone to prevent it from connecting to VZW network and she said than even though I was using WiFi it was still dialing into the network and occuring data charges. You have no idea how badly I wanted to slap her.

Didn't see a reply to this that actually gave an answer, you don't need to delete the #777. Goto the settings, click on connections, click on advanced click on Select Networks and then choose MY ISP for your connections on both (that's what I do). That way every time an app needs to go out to interent it will try wifi, if card is off it doesn't continue further.

Incomming Traffic

Ok so I had this exact same conversation with a sales rep over a year ago and walked out of the store with the minimum data plan after being lie to about customers with $1K phone bills. Anyhow Im not concerned with outbound traffic as I soley utalize wifi at work for my internet needs. I am wondering if there is a way to block the phone from dialing the #777 when someone decides to send me an MMS. I have deleted the number from the contacts but that doesnt really seem to mean anything and have not yet found the settings where disableing the autodial are located. Any help even to another link would be appreciated.

If you delete the #777 connection then it cannot dial it and therefore cannot connect to a Data connection.
