Hey everyone. I had an XV6700 for about 9 months now and just recently I had to get it exchanged because the screen started to go bad. One question I have is can anyone recommend a third part telephone app. The one that is on the phone is fairly lame. I'm looking for bigger buttons and customizable function keys.Any help would be great.

either you want bigger buttons on phone - which suffice to say you're doomed with the phone you already have, however you did point out a 3rd party software. There are plenty of sites out there with free applications for you to try, and should you approve of them, you can donate via paypal or whatever means they use.

You can customize how your physical buttons behave on your phone via START>SETTINGS>BUTTONS (under PERSONAL).

Now I didn't find exactly what you're looking for, but you should, or may be able to find some tools to try out to your liking. I suggest you try one at a time (install it, if you don't like, remove it, try next one, etc.).

This is the phone dialer app I use and as you can see its buttons are a bit more large.
