1) Contacts don't work. I try to start the program, but it never launches. Contacts are pretty important for a mobile phone...
2) I have multiple copies of some programs, I have Contacts, Contacts(1), Calendar, Calendar(1), Phone, Phone(1), Internet Explorer, and Internet Explorer(1). Not sure why this happened.
3) I synced my contacts and calendar items with my work computer. I just tried to re sync it and now it says I need more space on my phone.
I'd like to start fresh. I thought the new ROM would delete my contacts, settings, everything. There are other signs that my phone still has some old settings. Is there a way to clear all the user data on it and then install a new ROM?

Have you tried to use PocketCM which you can read about here and download from the same site or here is a direct link to it.

Im not totally sure about WM6 as I still use WM5 but in WM5 you can use your windows explorer (or whatever explorer window you have) and go to \\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and delete whatever shortcuts you want/need to. However, I do remember in some of the ROMs for Wm5 you needed to hard reset the device after loading the ROM to autmatically remove some of the excess shortcut icons. You can try that but make sure you have your device synched and backed as needed

Normally we backup or sync our device, hard reset, load the ROM, hard reset again and re-synch our device. This is will clear everything and provide us with a good clean start and install.
Hotfix,
See good advice from Weedahoe. Also in general
1. Hard reset at the conclusion of every Rom flash.
2. If you used a version of the rom that was labeled for Verizon, then you need to interrupt the Verizon customizations by soft-resetting during the countdown after you set the time zone. (This may or may not apply, since I don't know if you'll see the countdown with Rob's rom. It's been blocked by default in the recent kitchen versions, which Rob supposedly used to create his rom.)
Good luck. tmb

Thanks all.
A hard rest got everything work. I swore I did this after the ROM upgrade, but I guess I did it wrong. Oddly enough, the guy at the VErizon store did it no problem. I'm such a newb.
Thanks for the help all. I love having my *new* 6700. Time to replace the 2 year old battery and buy some replacement stylus. Looks like I'll have this thing longer until they come up with some much better. The 6800 or the HTC Touch doesn't do anything for me.
