Exclamation Changed LCD now contrast is too low!!! PLZ HELP

Well i broke the LCD on my xv6700 and i purchased one on ebay. Installed it with no problems until i saw one of my freinds xv6700 with an original lcd. His has alot more contrast and doesnt look like its washed out like mine. Ive tried the "hidden" contrast menu but it doesnt seem to work. I dont care if i have to Hard reset, is there anything i can do? Its really annoying me. Thanks in advance. Ive been searching for days with no luck on this issue.

Why do you think WM6 has anything to do with a hardware issue? The 6700s didnt come with 2k3 BTW but rather WM5. It is likely you either have a cheaply made LCD or it is not the correct one or something is not set right/installed correctly. It will not be affected by what ROM/OS you have installed.

Have you tried taking it back apart and checking all the connections? Do the twn screens look exactly alike? Have you contacted the seller on Ebay about the screen?
