alltel UTstarcom ppc 6700 camera problem

hey all,

I have had my 6700 for about 3 months now without any problems. I went to take a picture today and it comes up with an error message when trying to start the camera. The error reads unable to initialize camera, error 36991:100:1. Ive done a hard and soft reset with no luck. No matter if i hold the button down or select it from the menu's it gives the same error. If anybody could help me It would be MUCH appreciated. I love this phone, and the camera!

Thanks in advance,

if you have done the hard reset completely to restore the phone back to factory specs and without loading up anything-- if you still get the error then its a hardware issue and phone needs replacement.
