Thumbs down help...replacing broked screen..finished but problems..

hey guys..about a week ago i dropped my xv6700 and the screen cracked. i bought a friends broken ppc6700 (the silver sprint model) to try and use that screen in mine. the screen on the sprint one worked perfect, nothing wrong with it. i followed the instructions on a forum to disassemble and replace the lcd screen. i took out the broken screen of my xv6700 and replaced it with the ppc6700's screen. it went well, it didnt seem like i did anything wrong.

when i turned it on, everything was looking great until i noticed some parts of the screen were green and the whole thing has kind of a greenish tint to it. there are green spots on most of the start menu and other parts of it.

is this because i used a ppc6700 screen? how can i fix this? please help me!!

thanks in advance

There are different screens for the 6700s but as long as the one you used from your friends phone looked exactly like the one you took out of your phone then I assume it is ok. However, have you tried to take it back apart and make sure everything is clean and put back together correctly?

You know... Now that I am thinking about this... It reminds me of a few laptops I have seen with loose connections.

It sounds likely to me that something in there is a little loose or the contacts on the wire are not working so well.
