Help please. Warning message: Server changes req re-sync

Warning Message:
There has been a change made on your server that requires you to re-synchronize all items on your device. Please perform a manual sync.
Support code: 0x80883001

I've started getting this again. Usually after a Sprite backup, but not always.
Anyone have any suggestions or solutions?

Update...
This is starting to piss me off.
I've also noticed that when I have to do this, I lose many of the registrations for retail software. Not a big deal, but annoying.
The other thing that I noticed that gets "lost" is the names associated with my call history. The list is still there and I don't appear to lose any contacts, but they don't get associated; the speed dial is fine.

Please, does anyone have any ideas? Google searches have come up with nothing productive.

Nope. Just synced to my little XP-MCE box.
I wish it was to an Exchange server...

Trident,

Please let me know if you find out what's causing that error. I just received the same error on my Touch. I'm wondering if it's connected with my backup program too. I've been using Spb Backup successfully for a week. This morning after a backup, I looked at my storage card through file explorer and it was empty. I ran some diagnostics through Pocket Mechanic, and the files magically re-appeared. Then when I synched tonight, I got the same message you did. Maybe I'll test out Spb's restore function tonight!
