Still here with my trusty 6600 like most of you. I know there's a million threads on batteries and I searched them, but they are all quite old, some of them 2+ years old........

Anyway, I'm on Ebay looking at some 2400maH batteries. Here are some links:

Any opinions on any of these batteries? Are you guys using them? Does the phone still fit in the cradle? Any info/recc's appreciated.

P.S. Does anyone know if they (they = "the man" at Sprint) are ever going to sell a PDA phone with a 3.5" diagional screen? I saw they have that shiny new 6800 available now but the screen looks too small- about the size of a 6700.

the reason the battery threads are old is because theres no new BRAND NAME batteries being made for a phone thats been discontinued other than the ones spoken about here...

other than UTStarcom, Seidio ,Lion.. any other batteries are cheap and not worth the money. id rather you get a brand name battery rather than a china import. heed the warnings in the ebay threads here...

Do you have any links to where OEM batteries can be purchased vs. the ones on Ebay?

Check this out. Just order my 3rd 2400mAh battery from Lion. Come to think about it I am on my 3rd XV6600, but that is another story. The 2400mAh last for about 12mo. which is about normal. The Lion Battery is fits well and will not slip, thus causing a hard reset like some of the cheaper ebay finds. The price has actually come down this year.
