Cool Backup battery at 75%?!?!?! Can you replace.....

Has anyone replaced there back up battery???? Is it a "do it yourself" deal or do you have to take it in????
My back up battery says 75% even after fully charging my main battery. Anyone else have theres go out? If your main battery is charged, but your backup battery goes dead can that start a hard reset????? Cuz it just hard reset too!

i just happened to stumble upon that while looking at the pocketpctech sight for their extended battery. they added alot of replacement hardware since i was there last. even the price they charge for an lcd replacement went down. (i paid about $250. bummer)

anyone ever replace the internal battery

not only are my regular batteries dead. the internal battery keeps no charge. i'm not very skilled at working on the insides (like soldering). is it easy to replace this thing myself? i know i can get the part at ppc techs. thanks in advance.

The backup battery just plugs in with a two prong connector. That's the easy part. The difficulty is in taking the unit apart. I would seriously consider sending it in, else you might risk cracking the screen or the ciruit boards in the process.
