OK folks, where to start. Well how about the beginning...
PDAPHONEHOME.com is here to help everyone have a central place to talk/discuss/joke/etc. about new pda phones, but one big problem has been happening recently. Some people are being complete jerks, a-holes, idoits, acting like 5 year kids who just got their favorite toys taken away for doing something bad, given to Goodwill, and then seen at a less fortunate friend's house after you parent's said you must have lost it.
Well the mods/site owners/etc. have been discussing the NUMEROUS reported posts we are getting from the 6600 forum. Many from people making legitimate complaints about others, and some from people who read a post wrong and got their feelings hurt. This really needs to stop, and this is my plee to everyone here to please start acting nice.

Now since you have read this, I would also like to add, that many, many, many, people here try to add some comdey to posts, but others take offense to those attempts at poking fun/joking around. This is where the problems lies. It's VERY DIFFICULT to tell if someone is joking, or just flaming someone else, and well this is where our problem is. This is also where people are getting their feelings hurt and coming to us. As you can see this is then a vicious circle that just needs to be broken.
Yes we get reported posts from other forums, but the 6600 forum generates 10 times the amount of reported posts, both legitimate and just because someone get's their feelings hurt.
Now I can tell you this. At least once a week I get at least one PM from someone telling me off, telling me where I can shove my search remark, or just plain telling me they don't like me. I also get around 10-20 PMs a day telling me that people love what I do in the i730 forum, and that telling them to seach helped them find the information they wanted, plus reading through the information also gave them some additional help. I take the messages from people calling me Hitler, *******, etc. with a grain of salt because some people just weren't held enough as children, maybe dropped once or twice, or just have had a bad day and I was the one to push them over the edge. Also some people just don't like to be told what to do. But this is also why we have mods in forums like this. Without them every other question would be the same thing, people flaming each other 1000x more than here, and everyone would leave. You wouldn't be able to find ANYTHING in the search because it would be overrun with so many of the same questions that you would have to read 100 posts people finding your answer. (this is why we ask you to search, if you search and find your answer, a new thread is not genereated and thus eliminating another possible thread that would show up the next time someone searched. Then also posting additional questions in a thread on the same topic also keeps less threads from showing up allowing people to read the entire thread and see all the possible scenerios).
Now here is what the mods are asking....
Take some of these comments with a grain of salt, or just forget it. If you don't react to these stupid comments and just ignore them, they will go away. Those people will stop posting insulting remarks because they don't get a rise. Eventually a mod will see those remarks and discuss them with the person (probably generating at least 1 hate PM to the mod).
Now with that being said, those people that ENJOY making comments, flaming other people, calling people names, etc. etc. etc.... This will no longer be tolerated. The mods, including myself are going to start drifting into the 6600 forum more often and just commenting out your posts, deleteing posts all together, and possbily just locking threads or deleting them all together.
This type of attitude needs to stop. It makes our site look bad. All the mods are volunteers, here to help, and we want this to be the best damn site on the internet, we want people to return and be able to add new ways to hack our beloved phones.
So this is me personally, and on behalf of the rest of the mods asking ALL of you to clean up your act. Quit whinning about every little post, quit flaming people for no reason, and like my mother said, "If you don't have anything nice to say, shut your yap hole and don't say anything at all."
We have given many warnings to many people over the last few months. If those warnings come from ANY mods (and I don't care if you HATE that mod, then take it as a REAL warning, and read it more than once). If it's insulting, then by all means tell a site owner or another mod, but also look at your post that they have commented on, as that post could get your account revoked, and your IP banned. I know it can piss you off to have someone tell you to keep your comments to yourself, or ask you to refrain from posting that type of comment, but take it as a real warning. Us mods are going to discuss each comment we make about a user from this forum, and we are going to react a little more drastic than before, so just take this as a warning, and act nice.
Please, pretty please, pretty please with sugar on top and a big cherry help by keeping this forum, and ALL forums closer to the house rules.
Also if I, or any other mods asks you something, removes a comment, edits a comment, etc, we are NOT doing it to you because we don't like you, we are doing it because we want this to be the best forum out there. Take a look at why we asked you to do what we did, and think about it. If you feel you have been wronged in any way, talk to another mod, or send an e-mail to the main administrators and let them deal with that mod. We sometimes have bad days too, and we can get our feelings hurt as well from negative comments. We are volunteers doing this because we want to help, so please help out the mods...
