charging thru USB

It doesn't seem like the USB connection on the cradle is charging, unless you've also got the A/C cord plugged in. THe AMBER light is not coming on. The Boxwave cord, that says it charges, also does not light up the AMBER charging light, but I can't tell otherwise. Does someone please know about this? thanks

You are partially correct - you t receive a much reduced charge charge rate in the cradle if the AC cord is unplugged (and you can't charge anything in the "Aux Battery" slot).

but if you leave it in there overnight, you should be OK? I'm thinking of leaving the A/C cord and adapter in my suitcase and the cradle on my dresser (with an A/C to USB Boxwave adapter) for overnight charging.

Yes---the usb will charge, just slower than the AC. I use a little program that turns off the blinking lights---it works for everything except AC charging. Must be power dependent...
