I added a new topic in the original post:

Cool things that the PPC-6600 / PPC-6601 / XV6600 does that most may overlook

It has changed somewhat. (I hope I'm not stepping over bounds here...)
It's not all about pdaphonehome.com anymore and it's quite Ehud-like; so if you don't like his posts, don't read his faq.
Fair warning given. Check it out. A valuable resource.

Thanks for the updated link. I changed the original post to included the current link to Ehud's FAQ.

I wonder why nobody reads this thread except seasoned veterans.

It's a GREAT idea. It has WONDEFUL summaries and references. What's wrong with it?

How do you know that no one reads this thread except for seasoned veterans?

Because someone may have asked something similar to something stated in this thread? Maybe they missed it within all the pages and links to other threads and being a bit overwhelmed.

There is nothing wrong with it.

My father and a friend of mine both bought the 6600 w/ in the past week. I told both of them about this site and to just read it over for a couple weeks before they should be posting anything as all their questions should have already been answered here.

Folks, please do not use this thread as a discussion or for questions. Your post in this thread should either link to useful information, or be about a correction. Expect this thread to get cleaned up soon.

Freeware I've Tried/use/recommend
http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/showt...189#post385189

Most of the software is covered in Hobbes' excellent PPC software list and links thread, but these are ones that are free, and solve most newbie problems, such as where to find a registry editor(phm), and how to actually close a program(magic button)

Any threads related to printing via bluetooth ?
Does anyone have any experience on how to print Word/Excel documents from my PPC6600 storage card via bluetooth ?
What settings (connection wizard ) do I need to use ?
I have a HP BT450 Bluetooth adapter plugged into my HP PSC3310 Wireless printer.
Bluetooth on my phone works fine with my Motorola headset.
It detects the BT450 & Printer but will not connect (Pair) with it. The PSC 3310 icon does appear in the bluetooth manager.
I do not see any bluetooth wizard for connecting printers.
I can not find a "print" option in MS Word/Excel.

NEED HELP.
thanks
