I upgraded to the new software from audiovox, I still have to do the double tap or sometimes even triple tap, ill try between rings and see if it works one other note. I turned off the vibrate because it makes way too much noise. I think something is loose or something because it makes an lot more noise now than when i got it. I got mine from the shop for pdaphonehome.com

You can turn off the headset ringtone and vibrate .. then every time you click answer after the call comes through to the headset display, it will pick up ..

I just bought this one .. I've tried an 820 and an 850 motorola so far with little success (820 was better, 850 just plain sucked when answering calls) ...

this one connects fast .. i like it so far .. i like the ring tone thing thing too, but i don't like having to remember to answer after the ring ..

anybody figure out yet if they click answer on the phone itself why it doesn't pair?

I have a problem with the BT800 that I haven't heard anyone mention yet. Whenever I have the PDA in the standby/powersave mode, my headset loses it's connection. Once I turn it back on, it will reconnect in about 10-15 seconds. That doesn't really do me any good if a call comes through, because by the time the headset syncs back up, the call is on it's way to voicemail. I have the Sprint PPC6600. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Yes, you're on the same page. But the funny thing is, I can get it to stay connected about 50% of the time. I have yet to figure out what the catch is to make it stay all the time. And I'm not doing anything different that I know of. It just does it when it wants to.

Great tip

Thanks to mlr69 for the great tip. I've been using it over the last couple of days with great success. Thanks again. I can answer calls from my BT800 now!

No updates Marc. But from what I hear now, it's a known problem to Jabra. Maybe a design flaw. I'll keep my eyes open for a fix.
