Request to moderator to Unstick the old patch thread and make this new one sticky. This will be less confusing for new users looking for updates if they have an old or new phone. Suggestions always welcome of what to put in this "Head post".

Risk of patches beyond ROM updates:
This is not without risk. However I never had a single hang, crash, reset, or hard reset in the dozens or so of experiments I did. Except for Bluetooth itself not working.
New ROMs:
This AudioVox site contains new ROM images for PPC-6601 and VX6600. They both include Bluetooth Stack 3500. Note that PPC-6600 was shipped with a new ROM.
Note: When upgrading the ROM and it gets stuck with a screen on the PPC saying something like Version 1.2 USB. Don't panic. Just restart the upgrade process on the PC.

Patches:
This is a seperate OPTIONAL patch released directly from BroadComm to add support for Stereo bluetooth headsets and bluetooth keyboards. It can be installed on top of the ROM updates. But it should be installed last if you decide to use it. Rambo method can be used.

This is Build 3900. Source is an XDA II update. Some folks with cars have stated it makes their car now work. However, for CDMA phones you will sometimes get the memory error when turning on BlueTooth while the CMDA radio is active. To remove it may require a hard reset. If you get the memory error, turnon flight mode and reboot and turn on bluetooth first. And leave bluetooth on.
