XV6600 Patch?

Were can I find the dowload and instructions for the newest bluetooth patch for the verizon xv6600? This phone is crazy, the ringer is...Well, Were is it! No ring volume, no bluetooth, what were they thinking when they put this phone on the market! I would appreciate any help I can get out there.

Yeah, me too... but that's what we're here for.

I wish I had the time to do that much home work!

I wish I had that much time to do that much homework, I'm to busy making money, I can't sit on the computer and read every post...It must be nice! From the reviews I did read, this phone is the best I can get for my area. I had the Samsung i700 but, I definitely like the xv6600 better. I just came here to get some quick info, not a pontiff answer or someone that’s having a “Cognitive Illusion”.

I hear ya. Sometimes all you have time for is a quick answer.

Someone polite enough to answer (no offense at anyone) sure beats going through 100+ posts to find the answer (if there is even one in the thread you're searching).

I'm totally out of the loop on the Bluetooth issue as well. It just hasn't been that important since I don't have any other bluetooth equipment yet. Though I plan to go the bluetooth gps route soon.

I don't understand? The original question was "Were can I find the dowload and instructions for the newest bluetooth patch for the verizon xv6600?"

I answered your question. If you went to that thread, all the info is summarized in the first post, including links to the downloads. What's the problem?

Imychajluk,

I don't think your comments were the ones that he took offense at.

Don't be offended at anything. I think what cybrwulf was trying to say is that some people buy a device because they think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread and then find out it isn't quite what they expected. Then they want a quick fix afterward.

No big deal. Like I said earlier, I can see cybrwulf's point, but that is why the forums are here. I saw Lee's response and didn't need to respond further. What else can we answer for you?

some of us geeks here tend to get defensive sometimes when people just start trashing our phone. (myself included). regulars who have started with the original xda don't tend to worry because we've grown used to outside help from sites like this and xda-developers.com. most of the problems can be addressed with the help from these forums. the bluetooth patch sticky has all the information needed to load the patch and get your bluetooth working. there is also a loud ringer thread. if you posted a question i'm sure you would have gotten a little more help. just attacking our precious toy causes geeks to circle the wagons.

Looks as if the original poster of this thread invested as much time searching this forum as he did researching the 6600, IMO. Especially, considering that the entirety of the Bluetooth issue is a sticky at the top of this page and whose author answered his query in the original post. No offense meant, but ... ya get what ya give.
