This thead has nothing to do with linux, hijacker.

However, since it's clear you're going to go litter all over: Run vmware for linux and run wmodem in the virtual machine talking through the usb.

Hmm.. Yeah... Let's see...

A Macintosh has a mouse, a monitor and a keyboard.
A PC has a mouse, a monitor and keyboard.

They should be able to run the same software right?

heh..

i cant believe you didnt know that unix and linux can run ALOT of the same apps

what is funny is when someone actually uses the "search" button and pulls out a thread thats been dead for awhile you get mad

if i would have just started a new thread and asked my Q
i am sure you would have told me to search first
lol

Linux and the Mac have nothing to do with each other when it comes to drivers (or front end... or applications... or...)

BSD and Linux are so far apart it's not even funny.

It's bad enough you're hijacking the thread, but to do so out of ignorance is one thing. To continue to insist that Macs and Linux are in some way related is to spit ignorance in the face of knowledge.

Linux drivers don't work on BSD. BSD drivers don't work on Linux.

THIS IS A MAC TOPIC.

YOU'VE ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED IN THE LINUX THREAD AND TOLD TO HOLD YOUR HORSES.

If you have issues with that, go back to the linux thread and post some more (like you did yesterday.)

> mac does not run bsd!
Yeah, it does.

> it is pure unix
No such thing.

> bsd is next os closest to unix
No, BSD is what they run. Unix is a trademark, not an operating system.

> then of course its linux
"its"? what's?

> now I replied in this thread cause fitst [sic] it shows i search
No you replied in this thread because you weren't getting a reply in the linux thread and you're an impatient person.

> 2nd caese[sic] mac, bsds and linux users fall into same crowd
Nonsense.

> 3rd would you rather of[sic] me replied in a windows thread?
No, I would of[sic] rather that you stuck to the RIGHT thread -- the linux thread -- you started.

> lol
> give me a break!

Here's your break. Go back to the linux thread and quit defacating all over this Mac Bluetooth Tethering thread. Your linux questions have NOTHING to do with it.
