1) You don't use reminders for your outlook appointments
2) You never miss a phone call
3) You don't use Wireless Sync (that alone can add hundreds)
4) You don't have many applications installed that use notifications
I generally have 16 running at all times. After 1 missed phone call, I'll end up with a script... notification. It doesn't go away after clearing the message.
Notifications are applications that run upon power up, reset, power off, incoming call, etc. If you scroll over in the ClearNotifications screen, you'll see how they operate. You can always delete them, but somethings may not work right until you soft reset the device. It's just a good idea to keep the notification queue down to a minimum for a smooth running device.
I've had my XV6600 for about a month, I appreciate this site!! TY I must be missing something, I downloaded these two downloads...... where do I 'put' them, on PC or Phone, and where?? Thanks in advance!!
Started w/106. After a few cleanings and resets, seem good at 38.
Could be my imagination, but the reset does seem quicker- especially towards the end.

I don't know for sure if this is the result of this procedure, but I no longer get the "For some unknown reason we are not able to connect..."
For that matter, the connection is showing before the bubble even tells me it's dialing!
I also did a reinstall of Pocket Informant (after I accidently deleted a few WebIS files). But other than that, nothing but fewer errors!
I'll live with that.

Had 16 events before, 11 after.
I have been using this app for about 8 months.
When my PPC slows down, I run this app and clear duplicates and events, then it runs much better.
