One after you install it, it will clear dupes automatically on each soft reset. The other is a viewer with a manual dupe cleanup you can run as needed.
My i700 seems to run much better now. I haven't had any unexplained lockups or slowdowns in the two days since clearing. They used to occur every day or so. Hopefully this was the cure. Not that it matters. My new XV6600woc is on its way.
Only had 11, and some of those were the clock items. Didn't touch anything... just uninstalled.

I have duplicate items but when I click clear they stay present.
The dup's do not show up in red like it say's. Are there one's that should not be deleted? What would happen?
Ehud ....if you are right....... maybe they are right too and those dupicates don't hurt anything. I e-mailed scarybear techs this thread to get their take. I should be interesting?!?!?!?!?!?!

Well, here is the response from Dave at Scareybear:

I'm not sure where those duplicate events came from on your device. ClearyNotify and CheckNotifications were designed to remove very specific events that were generated on 2003 OS devices whenever a user would do a soft-reset. Other duplicate events (unrelated to those identified specific events) could be generated by the 2003 SE OS itself, or by some installed 3rd-party program on your device. If you have a phone device, then you probably have a specially modified version of the Mobile 2003 SE OS which could have a bug. Since we don't have any phone devices, I can't do any specific tests.
Well, I have just run across this thread and removed about half of my 76 events, which seemed mostly to do with the calander. Maybe this will help my unreliable ActiveStink connects....
My xv6600 runs best with no Script notifications. If I have appointment reminders, that adds to the list. I generally don't set up reminders. I use Calendar+ and see them on the today screen all the time.
Even with a couple script notifications, I notice the device running slower. Just go into the options screen and you can set it to automatically clear the script and duplicates when you click the clear button.
Originally posted by analli 16 events, no dupes. After reboot 16 events. Sounds nice I guess but why so vastly different from everyone else?
Yours is about the same as mine - and mine is consistently at 16 or 17. I have had a duplicate once in the last month. I also would like to know why ours are so different. - sheureka
