The purpose of this thread is to report any Bluetooth devices that YOU have gotten to work personally (or that you know for 100% positive, for sure, no doubts, no guessing, first hand, that work)... or that you definitely can't get to work. PLEASE DO NOT use this thread for dialog about the details, the trials and errors, etc.
Just identify the device you used, and whether it worked or not. It's OK to give a one liner on how it worked... noisy, clear, easy, hard, limitations, etc.
ALSO, if you report that something does NOT work, and you later get it to work... please come back and correct the original post if you can. This will make it easier for this list to be useful.
Example...
Acme Bluetooth Headset Model 1234567 - Works as designed, very clear
Sony Ericsson HBH-35 Bluetooth Headset - works as designed and seems pretty clear. I had to fool around a bit to get it paired, but afterwards it works fine. I ended up going back and forth between the generic bluetooth device, and headset profiles under the "New" option, and it finally paired.
RoyalTek BT GPS mini RBT-1000 - works as designed. Paired easily, and works flawlessly with Mapopolis. Extremely fast to find itself, very small design, and good performance. Used the generic profile under "New" and with the PPC6601 it ends up on COM6, which is what you need to set in your navigation software.
I just posted this over at priusonline.com (car with Bluetooth)
I was able to pair the 6601 with the Prius. However there is still some functionality that is not working
I could:
Dial on the phone and listen with the Prius audio
Receive incoming calls on the Prius and listen to them on the Prius audio
Transfer one number to the phone book. Transferring more than one failed.
I could NOT:
Dial out from the Prius (whether moving or not)
Dial from the phonebook (probably because of the bogus out of range message - see below)
The Prius constantly reported that the phone was out of range (no signal) which is why the dialing from the Prius failed. There is plenty of signal and of course I had no problems making a phone initiated call
So it works half way. One of the bluetooth protocols does not seem to be functioning correctly. That is good enough for me and hopefully is gives other Sprint customers an alternative. Incidently, it is is a great mobile windows based PDA also.

Fat, did you do anything special? My phone did not see my BT200...anything i need to download?
My BT-200 is the version for non-bluetooth phones...will the charger unit override over BT devices like my phone? I will try putinng the charger about 50 feet away from where i try to pair them...
ActiveSync'd over blue tooth to ibm thinkpad t40p laptop. Worked great after I skipped reading directions and found the answer on google. Must be initiated from PDA.

Yo,
Mine worked from 6 inches away, so I doubt 50 ft will change anything.
Two things:
1. The pairing code for the BT200 is "0000"
2. Click "OK" in the upper right corner (not cancel as I did a half dozen times before I knew what the hell I was doing wrong).

I would agree with you if you were right, but the Palm OS is crap.
Motorolla HS820 works good. 15 to 20 foot distance from phone. Sound not real loud, but callers say it is great, and sounds better than the wired one that came with the phone.
Had a Jabra BT250. Hard to pair. Only worked if I was holding the phone. It was also HUGE and made me look like the borg! Traded for the HS820.
The hands free phone system on the BMW 540i has an upgradable bluetooth feature.
So far everything works except voice recognition through the car.
But probably just a few bugs, I dont really understand how to transfer my phone list yet.
I got the Anycom USB adapter 240 (model CC3035) to work. At least it paired just fine and I can Sync with it. I have yet to try the wireless modem on it.

Jabra BT250 connects very easily for me, but is subpar in reception quality.
