Love this one too. got mine from PC Mall no shipping or tax. $37.00 to my door.
1.Anyone using the Logitech Mobile Freedom with BT 1.2 with a xv6600?
2.Does it stay paired w/xv6600 even from sleep?
3.How loud is volume in the ear?
4.Comfortable fit?
Thanks.

I've had good luck with the Jabra FreeSpeak 250 and my PPC 6600 (the camera model). Oddly enough, my results were not nearly as good when I was trying the PPC 6601 (no camera) with it. Other than the camera, I'm told there isn't supposed to be a difference in the guts of the two PDA phones.
The other thing I like about this headset is the belt clip holder/charging base. It gives me a handy place to put the thing when I don't want it in my ear.
The only negatives are poor sound quality in any wind or breeze, and noticable interference from wearing the headset and phone on opposite sides of the body. Even on the same side of the body, reception is never as good as when the phone is mounted on my dashboard, closer to the level of the headset. These may sound like big negatives but it sure beat the other bluetooths I had tried (only with the PPC 6601) in staying sync-ed and in comfort.

I have the Sprint 6601 no camera with the BT #3500 rom.
Volume good, comfortable as any other I have used and I have had no problems with it staying paired. I have also been able to get three days of heavy usage from the battery.

I have had mine for about 2 months and it works great! Volume is loud, it stays paired after sleep, and its range is fantastic (even through walls) The sounds is crystal clear. Oh yeah and the Windstop material they have over the mic really does cut out the hiss from wind and being outside.
I bought mine online from Amazon for about $50 after shipping. I think they are retail about $80
I love my Logitech mobil freedom but found one thing out. I tried to put a call on hold to answera call using the head set and it disconnected both calls. Do all BT headsets do that? Or do some have two buttons, one for answer and one for hang up?

im also having that problem with the mobil freedom. cant really handle another call comming in from the headset. i just use the actual phone todo that now . other then that i cant comment anymore on how awsome this headset is, its great. i strongly recommed it to everybody who owns a bt capable phone.

Hope this helps.
wow do not buy from here!$70 is way too expensive for this headset! goto amazon , you can get for like $34 with free shipping.
just picked up a plantronics m3000. found it on ecost.com for $32 with a $5 rebate
i can only compare to a $100 motorola hs250, which was smaller and fit better, but not quite as loud, and $70 more.
so far, the fit is ok, not the best but not bad.. whats nice is its EASY to get on in a hurry. just slips right over your ear.
paired really easy, i dont have BT patch but my ppc came with 3500 drivers.
picks up well, disconnects well, sound is very clear.
looks a bit like a d*ldo on my ear, but once again, dont care, i only need while driving, so its definately worth it.. esp at the price of corded headsets!
it seems ok, but i dont get reception in my house, so its tough to say if its from the router or lack or service.
they are both 5.4ghz though.. maybe even probs with home phones?

OK--after reading a LOT of info, I figured I would go with the Plantronics m3000 BT headset---got it on ebay with shipping for $40. Didn't come with book, but still it was a good deal 2 weeks ago
I have the Sprint PPC 6600--I just bought it 10 days ago, and I didn't think I would need to do any "patching" or "rom updating" (I am a newb with this stuff, so I was hoping to avoid it). Also, I am in the Detroit area--does that matter?!?!?!
Do I need to update anything?
In regards to teh headset--so far, it is terrible. It works--if I have it 2 feet from the phone, and I am *not* driving.
I lose signal sometimes (in the middle of calls, mind you) when I drive from one cell tower to a different one. The headset itself is hard to get comfortable, and the "noise" reducer doesn't work. My fiance was about to kill me today because I was "testing" it on her...it dropped a bunch of times, I couldn't have the A/C blasting because it was so loud to her, and a few other problems. So I dumped it, and I now use the headset that came with the phone! (great headset BTW, can you say S-T-E-R-E-O?)
I think I am going to go with the Logitech--from what I read here, it seems to be the best.
Any suggestions? Hints? Guidance? I am VERY frustrated witht this whole thing...I thought it wouldn't be this taxing--there's the optimist in me.
3 Other things:
When the phone BT reads my headset, it would pop up that bubble, and then I click on the headset logo, then "Hide" and it will hide it--but only for like 2 seconds, then I have to redo the whole process--anyone else deal with this? VERY annoying to a perfectionist who doesn't like the "bubble" up there the whole time.
How do I get the headset to work with MS Voice Command? For some reason, it won't recognize it...am I an idiot for not figuring this out?
Lastly, from what I read, it is impossible to use the M3000 for Call-Waiting. Is there a headset out there that you can use?
Someone please help...about to throw my phone at the wall...
Thank you, and I apologize for the length of this post...
using the verizon phone - with the phone on max, and the m3000 on max, its much louder than the phone volume. i cant hear ANYthing in my car or on a street with the phone. with the headset, i can drive and hear fine. i woulnt keep the windows down on the highway though..
obviously for worst case scenarios, i just speakerphone it.
like i said, its not the most comfortable, but for a $70 savings.. well worth it
