I found that you can't use the client-initiated IOTA. It errors out after 1-2 minutes. It did do it automatically at around midnight though.

I know - the display flashed on (next to my bed - as an alram clock) saying that sprintPCS was updating the Vision profile.

I also can't get it to accept PRL 10025 it's stuck at 10024.

Nice...definately plan to make use of the Field Test menu to test some signal strength theories in my area. Thanks for the info...already .PDF'd the page.

For you 6600 (Verizon) users, the codes work. Leave off the last pound symbol after the number/code and tap the talk button.

Not sure if I have typo and it was ##786# or what

But Tier 2 tech support had me do a "Hard Reset" with this code.

##768#

Which ever it was, it wiped the phone to factory.

Also on the data screen shot above:

This is what they set them to to manually provision Vision.

HASS: secret
AAASS: [vision password set on web page]

Yes, HASS is "secret".

I think when you dial #777 it uses this info to connect and not any password or user name you put into the connection profile.

000000 is only the MSL for Verizon, sprint actually uses a different one for each device. Since I had to manually program mine, sprint told me & I wrote it down

Pretty neat stuff. Anybody figured out any neat things that can be done with access to this stuff.

Anyway to get a copy of a PRL and see what it looks like.

Thanks, pretty interesting stuff, is it possible for me to be using a tower that is 60 miles away? ssid 4160 appears to be out of New Orleans, and I'm in Gulfport, MS.

Edit: never mind, turns out it's a system ID, not a tower id. Anyone have anymore info on where to download a raw prl file, or how to get it off my phone, let me know. Then editing it would be cool too. Didn't see too much about that on the mountain wireless site.

On a similar note: My phone appears to be homed on SID 4139, which is not my local SID. Any idea why that might be?
