... ok never mind, got it fixed today. Drove 3 hours to a sprint corp market and hit a service center. They got vision working on my 6601 in about 3 hours, they found it was nothing to do with the PDA (like the lady that called back for the trouble ticket said - figured she was wrong)... but instead they had to re-do the vision settings on the account itself on their end.

Just posting this incase anyone else comes across this problem.

I updated my prl on the Audivox 6600 and it will not pick up any signal whatsoever. I couldnt back up the previous copy and and now in dire need of anyone's help who would have a verizon PRL file so that i can upgrade the PRL back to its original. Please email jose@artyko.com with the PRL i would greatly appreciate it.

Apparently i need the new EV-Do formatted PRL because the ones i have found online are all the old type and it will not read thos files. I found a Sprint EvDo file and it worked, it picked up signal but wouldnt complete the call since it was pointing it to sprint towers. But at least i saw that it was the phone, it was definetely a PRL issue. SO if anyone out there has a PRL from Verizon that is EvDo formatted please send it to jose@artyko.com

Does anyone know how to switch between the CDMA network parameter; Auomatic A, Automatic B or Home only within the xv6600 device. What would be the access code, as usually like ##????<talk>

I'm using Verizon-XV6600 and i've tried to switch my PDA into Diagnostic Mode (DMR) using ##3424 (and the variants that include in the forums before like #*#3424.... etc) but always failed.

try this CDMA Service Software / ESN Changer, SPC Unlocker...

the most important things are :
1. Switch your PDA into Diagnostic Mode (DMR), usually used short-dial : ##3424 / ##3424# / #*#3424
2. Make sure that your PDA modem (i'm using bluetooth) has been detecting on your Computer (such as : bluetoothmodem) and then use the com-port on that modem to make connection with the 'cdma_workshop' programme

Becareful with PRL because not even same EvDO PRL type can work on your country, it still depends on the provider channels used in your country.

May be you can try to set only simple way with in dialphone-pad mode then choose tools, network system. I hope works on you.

It seems Audiovox 6600 has not Diagnostic Mode. 3424 not working in any combination. I have tried DMrouter, WModem for to connest 6600 to PC but nor QPST see phone.
f anybody have any solution please let me know
