Sorry but my first intention is to use my XV6600WOC (original on Verizon CDMA) in another country (Carrier Telefonica CDMA).
How can I do it?.
Any help would be greattly appreciated.

AKey is create by a algortm.
Ussually by ESN and MIN and akey (small).
So that you should ask your network provider, they have it in their HLR.

Hello Teddy, Uffie. I am absolutely newbie, I appreciate your help.
The original phone was on Verizon (CDMA USA) I would like to change carrier to Telefonica (1x CDMA PERU). A guy here put a new local cell line in the phone but it doesn't work. Even there are signal, the calls go straight to voice mail, but I can't recovery it.
The current codes:
Mobile # 111-579-8384
HEX ESN XXXX8500
DEC ESN XXXX0427264
IMSI 051061115798384
MCC 051
NMSI 061115798384
HOME SID/NID 1) 32511 65535
2) 32511 0
3) 0 0
4) 0 0
ETC...
PRL version 50224
SLOT CYCLE INDEX 1
HOME SYS REGISTR yes
FOREING SID REGISTR yes
FOREING NID REGISTR yes
ACCESS OVERLOAD CODE 4 Reset phone ??? must I reset?
PRL UPGRADING Browse ??? where can I browse?
PRL FILE (BLANK)
I found the Akey but it doesn't care.
The guy toldme he need a USB cable to fllash the old number, so I bought that cable, but it will be delivered in 3 weeks.
Is the cable neccessary? the flashing or put the new PRL (where can I find a Telefonica PRL file?) could do manually or via IR?
Hello!
What, exactly, do the first 3 photos in this thread show? Are those the settings that my phone should be on? (because they're not exactly the same). What happens when I change these settings and will I turn my phone into a brick if I try them?
Thank you for any help!!

Actually if you want to programm PPC 6600 , we dont need data cable.
1st of all you have to put all paramater (which you mentioned MIN etc) into the phone by dial ##778.
Then after all parameters done , you have to change the PRL. (##775).
If you have the PRL for your service provider, easylly you may transfer the PRL file into the phone , then when you dial the code (##775), you have to browse to the file dir which is you transfered into the phone .
And last, all the steps above no-use if you dont register your ESN number into HLR (ussually the HEX one).
I dont know the Freqwency Channel for your service provider so I can not edit any PRL as I can not send you the PRL file.

Hello.
WHAT IS PRL?
Is it a kind of complex file?
Is it just a secuence of numbers?
Is it a program *.prl?
I try to found it fron my new carrier (Telefonica del Peru):
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Priority 2
32511 [D] RM Telefonica Del Peru - Lima (Peru)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But they said they dont have PRL for Audiovox XV6600WOC.
Currently in my phone appears PRL VERSION: 50224.
Where can I find the infamous PRL to transfer into the phone?.
Thans in advance.

ROL&.
PRL = preferred Roaming List.
This is a file that we can use to force the Handset or CDMA devices to goes to the network what we desire to.
To create the PRL file We need to know Freqwency Channel, SID, NID, SYSTEM , is your operator support for EVDO, 1X only etc.
If you want to make the PRL file please send those parameter, then I can help you .
Once you have the PRL (for your NEtwork Operator) , simply you can put it into your 6600 then follow the steps that I mentioned earlier.

SOMEBODY HELP ME TO SOLVE HOW TO FIGURE out THE MSL CODE from SPRINT???????????????????????????????
####################
CAn I borrow your SPRINT account to get the MSL code.
Or I can give you my ESN then you retrieve it for me.
For security reason, you can change your password later after I get my MSL.
Thanks in advance.
I have no SPRINT ACC
so what your asking will I use my sprint account which is in good standing, to help you commit fraud against my carrier so they can raise my MRC to compensate for their losses from people stealing their subsidized handsets?
NO

NO, I didnt mean to do that, just dont know how to figure this out since I spend 900$ for this 6700 and hoping that this phone can be use in another operator.
I can send you the ESN if you could help me to find the MSL,..
how exactly do you propose i get your MSL from sprint without commiting fraud? sprint may be a big evil money grubbing corporation with all kinds off backassward policies but most of the BS legitimate customer like myself have to tolerate is because of people like you that ARE actually trying to circumvent a system sprint has put in place to keep their devices on their network. the answer was no is no an will always be no.
if you spent 900$ on a 6700 to use on another carrier you have more issues than can be resolved via this message board
1. you paid WAAAAAY too much
2. that sprint logo on the box, on the device and on every piece of documentation shoulda been a big tip-off
I can think of at least 5 ways to get your MSL from sprint without a dime out of your pocket but if I tell you im only making the next phone I purchase from sprint more expensive. oh and to anyone that claims sprint doesnt pay any money out of their pocket towards the cost of their pda phones, do you think convincing a manufacturer to keep their device exclusive to their network (or at the very least off of their biggest competitors) comes cheap? -believe me they pay big for that.

ok I have searched all over but can't seem to find this one.
I just got my 6601 and walked through ##3282# with advanced technical team @ sprint to setup my device with vision. We got all the fields filled in BUT "active profile" still shows 0 instead of 1 like in the screen shot on page 1 here.
I tried to log into mypcs and do the change vision password/iota but it just then says "could not prepare vision services error 1012" for the last 3 days. When it tried to dial up it says "#777 no modem found at location".
Like I said the only thing thats different is the "active profile 0" instead of 1... how do I get that changed??
We tried a factory reset... didn't do the trick. Here is a screen capture from my 6601 showing what I mean...
ok, finally had someone call me back about my trouble ticket from Saturday regarding this error. My active profile is still showing 0 instead of 1 like it should. The lady told me I need to replace the phone... but I have read all over these many forums don't let them tell you that, its just a setting somewhere.... could anyone tell me if thats true???
