Only 400K each??? What about those of us who view the forums on their PDA's? Over GPRS?? Yikes!!!

Resized

mswlogo,
I resized the images down for the forum, and placed the originals in a folder on my server. That will make it easier on those folks accessing the forum via PDA's.

Here are the forum images:

And here are the links to the originals. People who want to see the detail, can!
Pic 1 - Pic 2 - Pic 3 - Pic 4

If you would, please edit your posts to include these reduced images, or simply delete those other posts, and the images can just stay in this post!

We appreciate your efforts to show the EB case!

Matt

Thanks Multimatt!!!

I also had updated the review regarding the screen protection.

Sorry I keep my dock at work right now. I doubt it can be used with case.

I don't see how that case protects the screen. Can you elaborate please. Thanks!

It definitely protects the screen. First picture shows the lid closed but it's not a frontal shot. You can see how thick it is.

The cover is made up of

Leather
Foam Padding
Plastic for stiffness and protection
Leather (pocket)

It fastens with magnets.

My bad! I should open my damn eyes a realized there is a nice FLAP!

You know what's funny, the big Wireless stores like Wireless Toyz, etc. never have a good selection of accessories like cases or bluetooth headsets that you can take your phone into and actually try before you buy.

Novel idea huh?

Anyone wanna start a company with me?

I'd love to see a nice case that had a little pocket just the size of BT800!
Both links to headset reviews are the same.

I would recommend to anyone.
Hobbes,

Does it look kind of funky holding the phone while in the case up to your head to talk?

I see it has a belt clip but apparently no belt slot to insert your belt into the case. If you use the belt clip, does it make it stick out from your waist a lot?

norbert i have the Piel Frama case, but i dont use the belt clip with it, i would imagine it would be pretty inconvienent carrying it on your hip. Usually i just carry it in my pocket. as far as holding the phone up to talk with the case, it doesnt seem awkward to me at all.

Best Horizontal Holster (Leather)?

I'm looking for recommendations for the best horizontal-orientation leather holster for the XV6600.

The closest I've founf so far is a generic Krussel horizontic for PDAs, but it looks to be a good 10-19mm wider than the 6600, which I'd rather avoid.

Any tips most appreciated.

(FYI, I'm using a Covertec horiz holster for my Treo 600 now, and I realy like the build quality.)

i like the piel frama case and the krussel case for access to the keyboard but i wonder how much protection it offers with the side edges exposed. i also like the look of the eb case with so much of the surface behind leather for protection. does the edge of the other 2 cases protect the side of the unit from scraping if dropped?

With my phone, I like a holster case because the phone looks cooler and is easier to use when it is out of the case. That's kind of my same rationale for the PDA and the Horizontec case.

I think if you really need protection from dropping, you'll need to get an aluminum case with padding inside. Then it becomes kind of big to carry around.

What I want is a case where I can pull the phone out easily if I want to or use it in the case if I want to.

It's always a trade off between styles.

The Piel Frama and the EB cases have much more feedback from users in the forum than the Krusell case I'm asking about.

I don't think any of those cases would work with the PPC, or XV, or SX66 because they do not allow for the slide out keyboard.

Maybe I am missing something.
