I have been trying to get my second Covertec case from Impact Wireless. To be bluntly honest, I had an easier time getting the first one here from Europe. So far I have been sent a completely wrong case, had a bad time consuming experience with DHL when I tried to return it, and a week and a half after paying for an expedited shipment, they are reluctant to ship a new case until they get their mistake back. I don't know why they would care when I had to pay for the return shipping out of my pocket.

Wonderful!

I failed to mention the package tracking number that they gave me. It was from a package that was delivered to Burbank, California in April of 2004. I live in Kansas .

I ordered something from Impact Wireless a couple of months ago, it was not a good experience and I would not order from them again.

After my impact experience, i ordered a piel frama from pocket solutions... it was the wrong one. In this case, they were aware it was the wrong one...

On the website it's listed for a 6600 (no camera) I got sent one with a camera hole. I complained and was told that it's basically the same thing... sent it back.

swap,

Mine has the camera hole too. It didn't bother me so I decided to keep it.

The tracking number (7353209021) is correct, and wasn't scanned into the system as DHL Canada was closed (Monday) as it was a stat holiday here in Alberta.

I gave you our DHL account number to send the other case back to us, instead it was shipped using Global Express. I have no problem refunding the monies paid for returning the case to us this past weekend. If you can supply the amount paid for sending the case back to us that would be greatly appreciated, and I will credit your cc for that amount.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call us, at the below-mentioned numbers.

Chris

I have no plans to clip this monster on my belt so I just unscrewed and removed the circular knob on the back. The picture of it on Executivepda.com shows a key to remove the knob but I didn't get a key with my order. It unscrewed easily with a nail file though. Only a tiny hole remains which matches the hole for my non-existent camera.

The universal case (Not one that comes with phone) from Verixon for the xv6600 is a decent case. $30 and I cut a little slit inside to place wifi sd card. works good and has a 1 yr guarantee.

Does anybody know when this "case" will be available. It is exactly what I'm looking for. I have called their customer service several times and keep getting a recording. I have left my phone number on their recording but they don't call back. Anyone know when they will be available??? Thanks!!!

Looks like the blackberry cases we are using...

I have found SEIDIO to be a bit POOR on the customer service side in the past... good luck.

Camera Placement Question

I think this could be the perfect case for me... except the camera hole is in the wrong place.

Does anyone know how far off the camera placement is between the PDA2K and PPC6600? I mean, if the lens is in the same spot, I could lose the mirror and flash if I forgot to take it out of the case for one or two (or all) pics.

I wonder what holds the phone in, and does the hard plastic scratch the phone when using the slider?

Sorry, yes, that's correct. I like the facts that it looks like...

you can charge it in the case,

there's a cutout for the speaker to help you hear the phone ring,

it looks like it flips down for easy one-handed answering, etc.,

it's a swivel clip,

and it looks like it offers a bit of protection with the rigid plastic.

(I don't like the fact that it is molded to not allow for the extended batteries.)

mattsmith0622-- or anyone else-- Do you have any pics of the inside of the flap? (Does it have SD card pockets?)

It does not have SD Card pockets, and the camera cutout is wrong for the US versions of the phone.
