<img src="images/software-coolclock.jpg" align="right">One of my favorite PDAs of all time was the HP 200LX pocket computer. It was the one I had the longest, and it was the one that I held onto the longest before finally sending it off to eBay world. Why... one of the reasons was I had a really cool clock program for it. It was great to whip that out and put it on the podium when I was doing a presentation... the numbers were huge and it kept me on task. It was also nice to have a reliable alarm clock when I traveled, without bringing something else with me.
Applian Technologies has produced some of the coolest software out there for the Pocket PC, so there's no surprise that they've now come out with a Cool Clock! Cool Clock turns your Pocket PC into an awesome rich media alarm clock. CoolClock lets you wake up to music or recorded voice. You can set alarms that play MP3, Windows Media, WAV files or voice recordings. For me, I could record my wife's voice saying... "Hey, wake up.... you over slept again!"
CoolClock displays designer animated clocks authored with Macromedia Flash. Eight are included, and more are being developed.
