It would have been nice if they'd posted a way for us current users to upgrade... The "try it" link just gives me version 1.1 again.

And I don't remember what email address they have from when I bought it...it could be an old address. Please provide current users with a link to download the upgrade, Fonix.

Also, which version of the upgraded software will we get?

I'm actually in the process of trying to setup a Fonix support forum at pdaPhoneHome. If that was in place, these questions would be easy to get answered!

Fonix Upgrade from 1.1 to 1.2

You will get the VoiceDial 1.2 Premium, it uses the same voice as the current 1.1

Just download the try it now and enter your serial number.

All users of 1.1 will be getting an email next week with all the upgrade instructions. Mike is also getting our support forum set up, so that should help

thanks

I downloaded it this morning via the "try it" link and got 1.1. Same file size as my old 1.1, and when I run it, it says 1.1 in the about screen.

I wanted to try out the VoiceDial software but the site keeps giving me a 403 forbidden error. What gives since I have never tried it before that couldn't be the issue.
