One of the nagging problems that many pdaPhones have had when they've launched has been the lack of accessories. After over a year in the market, the XDA (and other HTC family devices) has amassed a very large stable of accessories from varous manufacturers. But, in its first few months of availability, the accessories were few and far betweeen. In fact, the keyboards for the device didn't show up for many months. You'd like to think that vendors learn from their mistakes.
Judging from the o2 website for the XDA II, there will be a lot of goodies for the taking. It appears from their site that the accessories will not be interchangeable between the XDA and XDA II. That is a shame if that's the case. At the o2 site, there are the usual accessories such as cables, headsets, cases, cradles, and a replacement stylus. You will also find 2 different keyboards for the XDA II, and a really cool Backpack sleeve. The Backpack looks to be very small and provides a Compact Flash card slot, a 600mah additional battery and VGA/TV out. Now THAT is cool!
