Would you purchase GPS hardware/software for your I300?

The developers of DeLorme GPS have produced software and hardware for other palm devices but have yet to do so with the I300. Please respond to the poll as this info will be forwarded to the developers.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

it just makes sense! I always go everywhere with my phone. why not bring the map with me????

I wouldn't necessarily want my I300 to be cabled to a GPS unit but I would definitely buy a snap-on/slider unit.

GPS would be a BIG plus....

often times i find myself browsing mapquest on my phone to get directions...and GPS would eliminate that....would be a beneficial addition....and i wouldnt mind carrying a little unit with me as long as i know hwere i am and where im going

I got an email today from DeLorme stating that it would be a couple more months before they decide whether to offer I300 compatible hardware.

I used to use the Delorme software and GPS on my Palm VII from time to time. Couldn't one just use the Samsung data cable to connect from the I300 to the Earthmate GPS, and then run Solus on the I300???

look at the thread in the main sedction about gps and i300 i noted there details about the adapter neccessary to atach the i300 to a delorme gps

contact me and I may beable to provide a pin lay out for a db9 adaptor.
