I should have my 6600 in my hands on monday, and one of the first apps will be HP's Navteq GPS software... I've used it on numerous other PDA's and think it's a great setup...

I think...(Dont quote me on this) that HP's navteq software is made by the same OEM as Iguidance. Which is good stuff.

Ostia has traffic. Gotta have it cuz I live in Chicago. Does anything else do traffic?

That's one thing I don't have with Iguidance. Which is too bad since I live in Jersey and traffic here sucks. I think TOMTOM has traffic and maybe OCN.

Traffic may be a new feature in TomTom Plus, looks pretty cool:

I have Pharos software and had been using it wired with my old Toshiba. They don't make an adapter for my PPC6600 that will work with the receiver that I have, so I'm thinking of going BT. Will I have any problems using a GlobalSat BT receiver with my Pharos software? I don't want to invest in new software, since what I've got is working fine. And I don't really want to get the Pharos BT receiver. It's more expensive than the GlobalSat, and the reviews are not as good. TIA for any help. - sheureka
