Well, the i500 has been around now for 18 months or so and there seems now to be an uptick in i500 owner's looking for replacement batteries, particular the slim battery (presumably because it is the most popular one to use).
I'd like to see if there is any correlation between usage and charging patterns and battery life. The polling mechanism on this forum is a bit lame to do this right, but let's see if we can fashion something acceptable.
Sorry for the complexity of the poll, but what is being asked is: Is the battery now GOOD or BAD, and THREE factors: what charger you use, frequency of charging and duration of charging. Each term is separated by a SLASH.
Again:
- Is your battery that you've used for > 6 months now still GOOD or BAD ?
- Do you use the original OEM Samsung charger, or something else ?
- Do you charge almost daily or less than 4 times per week ?
- Do you typically leave it charging overnight or do you disconnect the charger after the battery is charged (less than 4 hours) ?
----
In addition to answering the poll, please post more details about your usage behavior. Please cite your TYPICAL behavior, not your exceptional practices. For example:
- Do you typically run down the battery all the way each day ?
- Do you often rotate among several batteries ?
Please only vote in the poll if you've had your i500 for at least 6 months using mostly one battery.
