Received a $2000.00 bill
July was $800, Sept was $2K....HOLY CRAP!
Of course my calls hadn't changed, but almost the entire bill was data usage (web & e-mail). I'll cancel before I pay the inflated charges.
My bill is usually between $100 & $200, and I rarely use the data. I only check e-mail, and never get anything but the headers, if something looks interesting I log on to my computer and download it..seperate server.
I'm not sure who does the billing at Telus, but I hope they get their crap together.
Interesting thing is that while trying to sort the whole mess out, a data tech at Telus told me "if you were using a blackberry, you could download tons of e-mails a day...attachments & all, and never use as many kb as the 6700 does". He wasn't sure why, but that's what he told me.
