Also, there's a few places offering $199 Slingboxes right now, so I am fairly confident you won't get a better deal than the current!

Best,

please share where these $199 slings are

Dell has it for that price.

P.S. Since we seemed to have duplicated the Dell price, I'll add Comp-U-Plus at $189 as another source, but they charge shipping.

$80.74 (amazon) the best price on the swing link ?

seems there has to be a cheaper option than the swing link , anything special about it ?

something like this work just as well ? Price: $29.99 + free shipping (4.99 if you take advantage of the credit card offer)

Linksys WGA11B 802.11B

I bought this Linksys WGA11B 802.11B adapter for my son's XBox, but since he's not at home right now I'm using it to connect my Slingbox to my wireless access point and it works great.

There's also an 802.11G model, but it's a lot more expensive and not needed for this application.

Can I connect my slinbox to my wireless net by conneting an access point to my slingbox?? Or I need a game adapter or wireless bridge.

I am trying to do it with a linksys access point but it is not working.

I am using two Linksys WAP54G's, one (hooked up to my main router) setup as Access Point... second hooked up to Slingbox in Bridge Mode (with MAC Address of first WAP54G). Works like a charm.

Dell has it back to $250. With above 10$ discount, free shipping, and tax, my grand total comes to about $260. Better to go w/ CostCo for me....
