Good question - the offering we are making (at present) lets you have one free license key per Slingbox registered on or before April 26th. Key is this: you do not have to USE the license in the short-term, so if you buy (and register!) the Slingbox on April 20th, but you don't have a PPC until June, you are still entitled to a free copy.
Also, there's a few places offering $199 Slingboxes right now, so I am fairly confident you won't get a better deal than the current!
now what is then cheapest option for a bridge/sling link/game adapter ?
I bought this Linksys WGA11B 802.11B adapter for my son's XBox, but since he's not at home right now I'm using it to connect my Slingbox to my wireless access point and it works great.
There's also an 802.11G model, but it's a lot more expensive and not needed for this application.
well i got one from dell and after the paypal cupon, with tax and free shipping it was $202.30 and i also got that game adapter above for $29.99 + free shipping. i cant wait
got my sling and that $29 linksys wireless game adapter. holy cow is this cool , this phone gets cooler every day and in every way cept as a phone itself .... phone application i give it a c-/d+ everything else a A++++
anyways i may have to buy that huge battery now ....
Can I connect my slinbox to my wireless net by conneting an access point to my slingbox?? Or I need a game adapter or wireless bridge.
I am trying to do it with a linksys access point but it is not working.
Appreciate the help...

I am using two Linksys WAP54G's, one (hooked up to my main router) setup as Access Point... second hooked up to Slingbox in Bridge Mode (with MAC Address of first WAP54G). Works like a charm.
