Congratulations! Here's my prediction: If the i760 is actually released in June, you'll have 8,000 posts by the end of July.

I updated my post #83... Maybe I should chart it in Excel and see where it goes...

Then have Excel generate a graph with notes of when the i730, WM5, and the i760 are released. Bet you have big spikes right around all those events.

Anyone want to celebrate with me? :mikey: Drinks are on the house. Here you go:
Okay, so for my 1,000th post, I think I've earned an i760. Will someone please tell VZW to send mine to me ASAP.

So, I'm out riding my bicycle around downtown Chicago this morning. I decide to pedal out to the end of Navy Pier to catch the lake breeze on this beautiful day.
I park my bike and sit on a bench watching the sailboats on the gentle waves.
Then, suddenly, a hush comes over the pier and all becomes silent and somber.
From nowhere an honor guard from Great Lakes Naval Base appears and proceeds to ring 21 ''bells."
The ''bells" are immediately followed by the Star spangled banner, blaring from the Pier's sound system, accompanied by a massive fireworks display.
In the distant sky appears the Naperville Lima Lima acrobatic air team - as their planes weave through complex air maneuvers the trailing smoke spells out: "for wills and testaments see . . ." before the lake breeze obsures the sky writing rendering it unintelligable.
I am confused by all of this but strangely, somehow, I have become overwhelmed by a strong sentiment concerning juris prudence for dead people.
So, befuddled and amazed by what I have just witnessed, I shrug it off and log on to PDA phonehome. Once I do the meaning of all that has just taken place is revealed.
Congrats Iprob8!! Welcome aboard matey!!
PS written while "sitting on a dock in the bay" (okay make that sitting on a pier in the lake) using transcriber on my i730

Thanks, Pastor Tim and Jim. You guys crack me up. ROTFLOL. Pastor Tim, I love the picture of the folks clapping. That's awesome. And, Jim, your story makes me long to be back in the Windy City. I'm in my home office right now (supposed to be paying some bills) and it's 85 degrees inside. What I wouldn't give for a cool breeze off the lake right now. And, very nice use of the transcriber. Great dexterity.

I'm surprised that no one has posted here since my post 3 months ago. Guess everyone's concentrating on the i760 release.
Well, I'll bump this thread with this, my 1,200th post. It pales in comparison to MRailing's post count, but--hey--it gives me something to strive for.
Since we still can't celebrate my birthday (yesterday was a really downer, huh), at least we can celebrate something.

This is my 1,000th post in PDAPhoneHome.com. It is Saturday, October 20, 2007. I have used the Samsung i600, i700, and i730. I am currently most actively using the Apple iPhone. I am considering picking up the just-finally-released-yesterday Samsung i760 simply because I waited so long for it, and wanted it, and had to make a move before it was released, and have since found that the iPhone does nearly all I need a phone to do, but don't want to miss out on all the "fun" of breaking in that bad-boy.
So, there it is, with little or no fanfare, my 1,000th post. Ta-daaaaaaaa.

Congratulations, Pastor Tim. Welcome to the 1,000+ poster club. Wish I had something more to give you than these smileys.

Congrats! That's a pretty darn impressive club. I'm still just a wannabe.
