I just posted my 3800th post to the War Game. My posting has taken some serious decreases lately because life has gotten busier, and I have my i730 just about where I want it. I'm sure it will go back up when/if we get the WM5 upgrade, because despite the known limitations, I'll probably upgrade. I have no desire for the 6700 or Treo, so I think I'm good for now. But Mike has said if I hit 4000, he'll fly me up to Albany for some "good times". I sure hope it's pda related, but you know what can happen in Albany...

How about those UAlbany Danes! First time to the big dance.
First time to the big dance and they draw UConn, tough break. Who knows, UConn has had a history of "playing to" there competition. But most likely, I predict a stomping.
Yep... UConn wasn't the best team to draw, but I think they are ecstatic to be in the dance. They just started their program a couple years ago, and so this is a major accomplishment. Ironic that they changed the name of the school to "UAlbany", from SUNY - Albany Campus, a while back. I'm guessing that UConn was in their mind when they did that. So now, they get to play them. The local press has been saying that it won't matter if they lose by 6 or 60, it is all good. They will probably get a ton more press, just because they are such an underdog. It would be the upset of the century if they win.
As for a wager... my odds would be better playing the lottery!
Considering that a 16 seed has NEVER beaten a 1 seed, I don't like their chances. But they do have a chance... they all put their pants on one leg at a time.
I'm thinking... GO ORANGE! (As a former Syracuse boy... I can't help but root for them! What a Big East tournament!)

'cuse! first round knock out! They were handed the Big East tourney because otherwise they would not have made it in and Jim B is thinking of retiring.

Sorry I was right. At this point, I'd be happy if ANYONE from the Big East could win a game! GO UCONN!!!!!!!
I pretty much expected it. Sad as it is, teams that win the Big East tournament seem to slump early and often in the big dance. Oh well... another long three weeks....
I went to OU! (but I could have predicted that loss....we've not been playing well lately.) How about that BC game!
