Don't know about software, but I'm sure it can be done with adapters.
I have conceptual info, but never tried it myself.
You'll need adapters to:
- split the 2.5mm jack into mic (in) and mono left (out)
- convert the 2.5mm mono-out into 3.5mm to plug into your PC's mic or line-in jack. This one should have plugs on both ends.
There's more than one way to do it, though. For example, you could convert the 2.5 to 3.5 before splitting.
