For Those Considering Switching From Sprint...

DO IT!!!!

I was having second thoughts because I didn't want to lose $10 Vision, Voice Command, retention plan, etc. but after messing with this phone for a few minutes, I can say it was well worth it! I've been so busy playing with the phone, I have yet to activate it, guess I should probably do that sometime soon.

I've spent an hour just playing with the mp3 ringer feature, it is so cool! Speaker is amazing as well!

Oh, and for those who are looking for a leather case but do not like the swivel clips, Brookstone sells a $10 (or $15?) case that has a spring/hard clip attached to it that fits the 7135 nearly perfectly. It was the same case I was using for my Treo 300 and just happens to fit the 7135 very well.

The phone feels incredibly sturdy and makes my Treo 300 feel like the crappy piece of plastic it is (especially the flip part of the phone).

Finally, someone made a smartphone right!

I want to add my $0.02 worth to this discussion.

I am also in the process of moving from Sprint to Verizon to use the Kyocera 7135.

I have been using the Treo 300 and have used the Leather International Treo Belt Holster.

http://www.leatherintl.com/products/...?pid=145&id=87

I received my 7135 this AM. I will have to wait 72 hrs to use the phone as there have been some problems at Verizon that will keep the ESN and then new phone activation with a new account from processing until Monday. Frustrating. The phone works, I just do not have a phone number.

I bought the Brookstone Micro Leather Phone Case this AM. It fits the 7135 perfectly. It fits better than the Treo 300!. There is no cutout for the earphone, no cutout for the caller ID. It still perfectly fits the phone. I like the belt clip and the simple design. This case only costs $12.50. A bargain.

I will attempt to load some pictures.
