just an interesting experience ... after suffering all the frustrations list on this page and being told time and time again that the phone is not available from my vzw business rep.. i had to be in Manhattan yesterday. While there I stop into the vzw store on 1st ave. and 66th st. I cautiously asked the salesperson if they had and info on the new 7135 plam phone. The guy looked at me and said "you mean the old 7135 phone?" . I said old ? He said "yeah weve had that phone for well over a month and in wireless time that's old dude". He proceeded to open a closet and hand me one.... After handing back to him I went out side and wanted to SCREAM !

I feel better now.

You mean you actually gave it back to him?
I'm sure I would've plunked down my credit card and bought the darn thing on the spot. Then pushed the guy against the wall and forced him to apologize to my 7135 for calling it old.

Why didn't you buy it???
